MIA President Scott Van Camp
welcomed all the MIA Members and their guests to the evening and

And the Total is $75,000!
The $75,000 represents Sponsorships
and Donations made via MIA, plus direct donations made to PMHF, plus
the excess revenue from this year's tournament due to the excellent
turnout (204 golfers). |

Matthew thanked the MIA for their
contribution and all their hard work.

Enjoy the last social event of the year
- and ENJOY IT WE DID!
We thought last year's event at the Toronto Hilton Hotel was a
huge success with more than 60 couples. The 2009 Ladies`Night was
attended by 164 people -- that`s the largest attendance we`ve had since
2003
when 169 people attended.
Thank you everyone. With such wonderful people
supporting our efforts, it is a pleasure to
coordinate such an event. Many people complimented the room, the
food, the evening but without the wonderful party group that is
"the MIA",
the evening cannot be a success.
Ladies´
Night is not just an opportunity for the ladies to get all dressed up in
their party clothes and to get their good-looking fellows into a suit
and tie, but also an opportunity for the men to bring their ladies out
to be treated like queens.
|
|
The room was bursting at the seams and the dance floor may
have been crowded but that didn't slow anyone down. All pictures can be viewed on the
LN09 page.
Thank you to everyone who made this year`s event so
successful!
Be sure to mark your calendars for next year`s 2010

Night Friday, November 19th at the Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre Hotel. |

A Time to Thank the Ladies!
In addition to the white rose or white freesia
wristlet corsage, each lady received a gift.
Personally selected by Carla Van Camp, the Gift
for each Lady was presented by a Director.
Carla chose a traditional gift for the season --
Amarylis bulbs -- beautifully wrapped.
Today the ladies should be enjoying the big,
bold, and beautiful blooms that will continue through to the
New Year. |

In full bloom (4 flowers per stalk and 1
more stalk to flower)

The Elimination Draw!
Each lady was also given a draw ticket to place
in the large silver bowl.
Throughout the evening, groups
of tickets were drawn and unfortunately these ladies were eliminated
from the draw.
The last lady standing and
present in the room was awarded a cheque for $1,000 -- now isn`t
that great timing for the shopping season ahead! |

And then there were Three!
Left to Right:
Ronnie (Veronica) Cox [Ron Cox, 3M Fire Protection]
Rhowan Sinanan, General Insulation
Annik Ouellette [Luc Barriault, DISPRO Inc.] |
And the Lucky Winner is!

Ronnie Cox who claims to have
"never won anything before".
Congratulations Ronnie! |
