Annual MIA Golf Tournament for Mesothelioma Research   

This event has been moved from its usual 3^rd Friday in August to the 4^th Friday (August 28^th) for this year only.  This is not the Labour Day Weekend!  Because of the TIAC Annual Conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland being held August 14-17 this year, the MIA Board felt that the timing for the two events was too tight.  The Announcement was emailed May 13th.  [Updated May 14^th, 2009]

Gallery Page  NEW   

Our website now includes a Gallery page where you can see pictures from recent events such as SAM 2009, Ladies' Night 2008, and SAM 2008.

Semi-Annual Meeting (SAM) - June 12-14    We had a great time at Taboo Resort in Gravenhurst on beautiful Lake Muskoka.  We brought the first nice weekend they've had in Muskoka this year -- hard to believe they were having snow 2 weekends before.    As usual, The Master Insulators' Association of Ontario provides the venue but it is our members who make the event a successful.  Pictures of SAM09 are available on our Gallery page.  [Updated June 20th, 2009]

Revised Wage Tables   

Effective at Midnight on May 2, 2009, the Revised Wage Tables were emailed to all Active Members late in March.  If you have not received your copy, please contact the MIAO office and be sure to provide an email address.  [Added May 14^th, 2009]

H&S Training   

The Annul H&S Training for 2009 is now underway in all Regions.  If your company requires employees trained, please contact the MIAO office.  [Added May 14^th, 2009]
