ICI Construction Agreement
with Local 95 
The Agreement has been revised to add LOU 122, revise LOU record, revise
2009/2010 wage tables for ICI and Maintenance to reflect prior disbursement
changes, and add Maintenance Article 2.01 (e)(i) and (e)(ii) inadvertently
omitted from document. A revised Revision #3 is available in pdf format.
Hard copies of the revised pages only can be mailed
out upon request. Please email Malcolm Haylock, Manager
manager@miaontario.org and indicate
whether you want the pdf file emailed to you (please provide an email address if
you fax your request) and whether you also require the revised pages mailed to
you.
MIA Bylaws
Following the Special Meeting of Members on September 24th, revised (Rev 2.1)
MIA Bylaws are now available. Please fax or email your request to
Malcolm Haylock, Manager
manager@miaontario.org. We now also
have an electronic pdf version available for members' use.
Apprentice Training
The Ontario government is contemplating taking over all construction trades
apprentice training programs. The government-commissioned
Armstrong Report is now available.
Events
We've now added an Events page to cover the current year plus the next 2 years.
When available, notices/invitations and registration forms will be available on
the Events page but will still be faxed to members.
Ladies' Night 2008
This year's dinner and dance is being
held Friday, November 21st at the Hilton Hotel Toronto. Invitations and
registration forms are being faxed the week of September 29th and will also be
available for downloading from our website (Events page).
Toronto Hilton has extended the
deadline for hotel reservation under the MIA Block to October 30th and reduced
the room rate to $189 per night. The Dinner Menu is now available with 3
entrée choices. A new registration form is available to record entrée
choices.
Approved Upgrade Lists for Insulators and Removers
The latest list was
received September 30th, 2008 from Local 95 and has been faxed to all Active
Members. If you did not receive a copy, please contact Malcolm Haylock,

and provide either your fax number or email address.
