Regional
Council Meetings 2010
Regional Council Meetings have been set during January 2010 for
all Regions except #2 and email notifications were emailed December 17th.
The Events Calendar has been updated with
these meetings.

Annual
General Meeting 2010
In 2010, the AGM is being held on Thursday, February 18th and
after dinner
we will be having a Guest Speaker, Steve Clayman.
The date
has been changed in the hope that more members will both attend the meeting and
then stay for the dinner and guest speaker!
Steve Clayman is
president of Nor-Rep Agencies Inc., a consultant to the Thermal Insulation
Association of Canada. He has more than 30 years of experience in various
aspects of the insulation industry; marketing, technical, specifications and
job-site supervision. He is a member of the Canada Green Building Council,
ASHRAE, Construction Specifications Canada, and is recognized by the National
Insulation Association (NIA) as a Certified Energy Appraiser.

Ladies Night - Sutton Place Hotel - Friday, November 20th, 2009
Over and done but not forgotten. See the Ladies'
Night page for a behind the scenes look or view the pictures on the
LN09 page. The room was bursting at the seams with
164 people in attendance. The dance floor may have been
crowded but that
didn't slow anyone down.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the funds
raised by the 2009 MIA Charity Golf Tournament in Support of Mesothelioma
Research. As MIA's special guests from Princess Margaret Hospital
Foundation, Nancy Jordan, Special Events Coordinator and Matthew Warszawski
attended and were presented with a cheque for $75,000 representing all
sponsorships and donations via MIA, direct donations to PMHF, and the excess
revenue from this year's tournament.

Effective at Midnight on May 2, 2009, the Revised Wage Tables were emailed to
all Active Members late in March. If you have not received your copy,

Training
The Annul H&S Training for 2009 is now underway in all
Regions. If your company requires employees trained, please contact the
